To my delight EA Sports is releasing FIFA 11 early this year. It usually drops in late October after the season is well under way. From the look of the trailer, they’ve kicked it up a notch with new modes like the Be A Goalkeeper and 11 vs. 11 online. Craziness.

The hype can be a bit much.

I watched this morning’s matches flipping back and forth on Picture-In-Picture with my friend Dave, a US supporter. The England and US national squads qualified for the round of 16 with Jermain Defoe and Landon Donovan coming up with the goods. What a morning!
